depends how i decide to do it. might use a rear diff and add knuckles to it to keep the pumpkin centre but then ill need custom axles. could run it as it is and have an offset tailshaft to the pass side. or i could flip it and reweld the knuckles on and have the pumpkin on the drivers side with offset shaft, at least that way both pumpkins are on the same side...
not sure what to do you. im liking the cheapest easiest option of running it as it is tho

so now its been a few months.... still happy you entered and how you went in TT ? good shots again
Yeah, still going to enter next year, just trying to find the time and money to make some improvements on it and take it out more often. I dont have my own trailer which makes everything harder.

Joshy this thing is amazing, I show all my mates it when ever you update the thread!!
Thanks mate

Found a single cab yet Josh ?

Just need the ram now.

Been doing some minor maintenance and mods.
Rear tailshaft developed a nice swing after the devils marbles, it was still an original gu rear shaft just sleeved longer.

Cut all that out and replaced it with this.. 3" with 10mm wall thickness

The front shaft also rubs slightly on the links at full drivers compression. It was 2" od 3mm wall tube with 1 3/4 3mm wall tube inside of it. Instead ive gone for 1 1/2 and 10mm wall...see if it works

Rear doors are also almost finished.

Good luck.

I cant imagine the 10mm will be easy to weld.

In saying that, I barely have any welding experience.

Yeah, i prepped the ends down to 4mm which tapers up to the 10 to help with the penetration of the weld.
Most of my early welding was done on 16mm+ plates, just needs more prep and higher amps

i know heaps of others have said it but wow!! wow!! wow!!! farkin awesome nav joshy!!!! great to read about the life of your truck... although its taken the last few nights to get through 114pages and watching all the vids!! lol... but well worth it top read thats for sure.with the amount of views i think its gotta be a best selling novel!! haha are you going to print it in hard cover or go str8 soft??? hahaha.
maybe you should go into business doing mods on 4x4's specialising in the navs because i dont think there would be any one around with the experience you now have.
good luck with the 4 wheel steer.

haha i dont think theres many out there that would want there nav to be like mine. but thanks.

went out to the tuff truck social for all the competitors over the weekend. Drove some of the stuff that you dont see on a tuff truck weekend... some great tracks, much harder then what they use for the comp. few damages to the nav but nothing that wasnt fixed trackside of cant be fixed tomorrow.

Tuff truck. Loosely based on ccda requirements. altho the taxi bar height and angle need to be in accordance. ccda/cams only allow internal cages but tt will let you have exos so its sort of just up to them.
