Damm I am over this lot. No wonder we hate the people from India.
I tried talking to them even went as far as saying I have 30 pc's here and all running Linux. MMMM nope didnt phase him
next one starts so I just hang up
Last one was female and when I asked her for her number cos she sounded hot she hung up.
Anyone else got smart replies for this lot of morons

Hi Fella's

I had the same problems with foxtel/telstra.Lost foxtel rang the call centre told them the problem, they said that I lived QLD not NSW,this is after I was asked for my postcode.I then asked them where they were based answer India. After a little rant was put throught to the main office here I Sydney. All good at the moment.I had the area manager ring to make sure everthing was working. When he rang I gave him a blast about there customer service.

Ah yes i love these calls, ive put my 3 yr old on to talk to them or just ask them straight up "What the F@#k do you want!" HAHA 2 seconds later there gone.

The first time I led the guy on for about five minutes before telling him I couldn't have the phone and computer in the same room and he hung up on me. The missus has answered a few and played dumb they still get the shits and hang up when you give them a stumbling block they can't figure out.

Lately though I've had more problems with the Melbourne based company who are legit (as legit as scumbags who take money can be) that offer to do your virus protection for a fee. Their system does actually do what it says and they aren't into stealing information, however it does costs you monthly, but service must be slow because they've rung me about 4 times in 2 weeks.

There's a reason why the real ones have MCSE qualifications. Stands for "Must Call Somebody Else" when you have difficulties (apologies to everyone who struggled to get an MCSE, of course - it's said for pure amusement).

Telemarketers are really, really easy to deal with.

To all you telemarketers out there that called someone in Australia and was questioned as to why you were offering them an inflatable yellow dog, or flyscreens for their submarine, or breast implants for their chickens - THAT WAS ME, SUCKERS!!!!

Damm they are good
I just got another one
She even knew my name lol
I said I dont own a computer cos I live in a cave with no power
She then said let me check the number and read of some number and I said but i dont have a phone so you cant have the right number

Dumb as dogshit is being nice for these curry munching individuals

Oh yeah Tony Im MCP lol thats Microshaft certified Perfessional lol

Maybe next time Ill get them to try to fix my DHCP Server
DHCP = Dirty Hard Core Porn server lol

When any of these people ring me I just say "Hang on a tick I will be back" and just put the phone down and go back to what ever I am doing, I eventually just hang it up.

Wasn't some sort of register put out that you can sign up to get your number off the "once in a lifetime offer" list?

I am lucky, I don't have a home phone :D Its the door bashers on the Sunday mornings that &%#& me right off.

Do Not Call register (Google for those interested)
There is also a DO Not Mail register which allows you to remove your name from some mailing lists.

The biggest problem with either is that it doesn't stop international originated communications, of which the MS is one. Also you need to renew your details every 6 months or something like that.

The Indian call centers are using the white pages and call via a VOIP system so damm hard to block and seeing its an international scam they ignore the Do Not Call list.
Am honestly surprised its been going on this long.
we are now seeing who can keep them on the line the longest and so far one guy at work is up to almost 40 minutes lol

Had only a mobile phone now for 4 yrs. NEVER had a cold call.
Oh I lie, once a dude rang me pretending to be from my bank, and shmoozed me 3 or 4 different ways to get , or confirm as he said, details. I let him go on n on n on. I had nothing to do at work so didn't mind. F@#kn grub.
Figured while he was wasting his 40 min talkn to me he's not r@@tn som1 else's life.
