Genuine Dealer fitted remote central locking

Hello all.

Have a dealer fitted genuine remote central locking kit install on my 2005 D22 zd30 navara and have purchased a new remote for it due to losing my keys.


Just can't get the stupid thing to enter programming mode as per the instructions in the manual.

Have tried other instructions I have found using Google but still no luck.

Anyone have any ideas how to get it to programming mode?

Part number for system is 28598-vk000au.

Give the dealer a call or contact one of the ebay sellers and ask them.

Dealer has nfi and wants me to bring it in. Not interested in paying money for no fix.

All they can do is what the manual says.

EBay units are a newer model and not the same part number.


Anyone else have any ideas?

I'm surprised no one has ever had one fitted...

Just out of curiosity how much did that all cost? Does that central locking take care of the imobiliser as well?

What immobilizer???

This is for a d22. They don't have an imobiliser.

No idea on cost... Bought it with the central locking.

Go to the person you bought the remote from or the dealer and make it known you won't pay for no result.

Its all been sorted.

Instructions supplied with the car were wrong.

What was the fix so others can learn?

I was wondering if disconnecting the battery to enable reset may have worked.

Instructions stated acc to off. Tech manual shows on to off. That was the only difference.
