Maybe you guys can help me out here. 2004 D22 TD, changed the fuel filter a couple months back and everything was going fine until a week or so ago when I decided to walk to work for a few days. The next time I jumped in the ole girl I noticed it was over reving at idle, even after warming up. Then she stalls at the intersection and I had to get out and prime the fuel before she would start again. Engine is still over revs and I have noticed that the primer button goes soft not long after priming (is this normal?) Can't see any obvious air leaks. Battery was fully discharged when I started using it again and I had to bump start it. Cheers Jimmy

most likly a leak somewhere. fit a bit clear fuel hose and look for bubbles.
most common places are fuel filter (especially if o rings are reused) and primer pump.
