Diesel/Gas. pros and cons?

I have my doubts about the "running cooler".

I'd be very interested to see results of a with-and-without on a dyno with only minutes or even seconds between runs (providing identical resistance and atmospheric conditions to remove those as factors). Primarily I'd be interested in EGTs, which would dispel the myths once and for all.

You and me both, but It looks like the only way to see is to sped the $ myself.
 
The good part about running "diesel gas" is that you can turn it off if it's worrying you. 30C is nothing in EGT, worry if the temps jump by 100C sure. Still wouldn't hurt to have an EGT gauge installed beforehand, so you can see a "before and after" - although turning it off will achieve the same.
