D40M or D40T?

This is gonna sound really dumb to most of you guys, but what is a D40M and what is a D40T?
I've seen this on eBay in reference to some spare parts.

??? VKS is spain and M?? or something is Thai not sure what the d40m and d40t

I've found reference to the D40M parts list for both KC and DC variants, so it's not a country thing. I also found reference to both the VQ40 and YD25 engines, so it's not a petrol/diesel thing either.

I did a quick google search and found that a D40M = Spanish built (VSK) and a D40T = Thai (MNT)
