D22 Fuel Fliter issues

HI Guys, my D22 is having fuel filter issues. when i go to start it I have to go and repime the filter as the filter seams tohave drained. I have replaced the priming pump as the local dealer said the check valve goes in them, didnt fix the prolem. Any ideas Please....................................

Air leak in the fuel line between the primer and tank allowing fuel to drain back into tank?

Fuel filter not tightened properly after servicing?

I had this problem with mine. Using a ryco filter (only when parked facing uphill).

Replaced the filter and all was good again

Had a similar problem and found a bolt on the back of the injector pump had some how come slightly loose took a long time to find, found by smelling some diesel once I had primed it and there was a slight leakage.

air leak somewhere. fit clear fuel hose, look for air bubbles.

place some vice grips on rubber fuel line (dont over do it gently does it ) saves fuel draining back to tank my d22 does it every service
