Hey mate I've done a lot of hard yards to get those trophies ! You could try ebay or gumtree I have seen heads for sale on there before. Or you could take up hunting ?[/QUOTE

My tongue was firmly in my cheek saying that. Have had a bit of look on ebay, and they seem to go for a fair bit but I'm a bit of a tight arse. They do look fantastic, though.

We are gradually simplifying our setup, we can really only go to normal parks etc now with the new(old) Viscount, LCMP etc are out, until we just get a standalone tent. Its time to sell the campertrailer, not using it really anymore.

So now we just pull up, wack up the Oztrail gazebo, will probably get another and join them together, a single 3x3mtr one is just not enough for everyone to crowd under when storms hit, :rofl2: .

Errr, I can explain that last photo. Its that damn work thats forcing me to drink the tasty grape juice, honest!!

Just some LED strip lights. Got a 5m roll from eBay, then cut them to suit, was real easy.
They are awesome gives me so much light

Seconded. I've got a similar setup in my canopy. Great light and low wattage.

Here is the evolution of our camping set up over the last year or so. From the excellent Terracan to more adaptable Navara with the alloy canopy. These photos only show the sleeping quarters side. I have yet to finish the kitchen and storage side, although I have put in a home-made fridge slide. We tend to travel fast and light but there is still room for the dogs...OK these are very small dogs but they still enjoy camping.

Thanks Dave.
I'm still working on how to put the 70 litre water tank under the tray.
And the missus has certain ideas on how the kitchen and storage will be executed.

I think the wife and I have finally got the basics of our camping/fishing/touring setup sorted.
We've had a couple of camper trailers that for one reason or another weren't suitable, and settled on a Jayco Finch Outback.
We're a bit limited now as to where we can tow it, but it's way more user friendly (and quick to set up for a simple overnight stop) than the others were.
The D22 tows it nicely, with a bit more grunt than my old Disco, and with a few minor tweaks here and there we should be happy enough

Hey mate,

Is that a flexiglas tray? I had one on my king cab and put an 85litre water tank under the tray, got it made up by a toolbox joint.
Think theres pics in my garage, if not I can send you some

That's a great setup there Mintie. I'd love to see what's inside that sleeping area behind the tarp and pineboard, I'm guessing there's a bed, but single or double, I don't know???

I to have a KC with a Flexigrass tray and I'm in the process of redoing how I have the tray setup so I can sleep 2 in it instead of 1.

Their great aren't they, we've got a flamingo outback. It turned out to be a bit bigger then I thought but once I but some bigger tyres on it, it'll go most places.

For the money they are a great thing. Mine's a 2010 dove. Good size and a great home away from home.
