07 STX Central Locking

Hi all,

I have been a member of the forums for a while now doing a lot more reading than posting.

I noticed over the last week that my central locking has changed.

Previously when I pressed lock, all 4 doors locked. When I pressed unlock all 4 doors would unlock and the indicators would flash slowly.

I have noticed that for maybe a week, when I press unlock once I get a quick flash of the indicators and only the drivers door unlocks, press it again and then the remaining 3 doors unlock.

Does anyone know of a way to change the programming of the central locking? Its not really a problem at the moment but I would like to know what I did to change it.

It's the anti-hijacking feature. I activated mine deliberately - the manual (which is for Euro models) indicates that it's on by default.

Activate the feature by holding the "Unlock" button for three seconds. Deactivate it by holding the lock and unlock buttons together.

Ahh great! I knew I must have activated it somehow but had no idea how.

Now we just need to know how to auto-lock the doors once doing above X amount of km/h

1) Always have a female passenger

2) Put the central locking switch into the grab bar above the passenger door.

Problem solved.
