ive got 214km 2x chains replaced 118km and 185km, genuine single row chains, all genuine filters, new tensioner at both changes, when they go again im going yd25 dual row.. stretching the lower chain, eating the 2x sprockets/tensioners/guides.. 1k trade in parts each time..

this is the reason prior to starting any wiring jobs to DISCONNECT your battery, as careful as you can be one touch of wrong wire/ side cutters on wrong spot blows things quickly.

would you swap for stx 16" rims and tyres? wouldnt be available till 24th oct though..

Had mine re done under warranty. they tried to say i had done something etc.. also had rust spots on roof. all good till 6mths later and the channel has turned to shit again and wrinkles the paint up. Also noticed it on the inner guards when you open the bonnet up the front... just thin shit...

i had similar problem but it only did my bearing.... when you turn mine off the alt disengages on the clucth bearing and grinds to a halt... 'loud noises' get weird looks when turning it off haha... if you need to get a new one can i buy your alt front bearing off you... as you cant buy this as...

i could get it to enter limp mode on startup and on heavy acceleration on command.... i will try get the part number but im lead to believe there is 2 types depending on your model , one is shorter- one longer as im told.... your better to give your vin number and get the one thats suited to...

just did mod and put plate just before cooler after bend.... massive difference... 132000kms manual 2.5 07 stx... towing/pulling out is awsome... gave car to missus without saying anything... when she got back asked what i did to it... :) happy wife happy life....

ok guys hope i can help.... i have had this same problem with my 07 man d40 stx and to a stage i could get it to start stalling/ going into limp mode on command. after logging all the stalling/limp modes the one thing that was noticed was the fuel pump (ma) on the log... on calling an ex...

yer bud i just had one go on my d40 a few weeks ago... sounds like turbo winding down... its a 1 way bearing and you cannot purchase it by itself from nissan only complete alt..... all $1700 trade price of it.... if you put a rattle gun on the hex nut it comes off no problem so im trying to find...

i have a 07 spainish manual d40 stx which is doing this.... only when you accelerate rapidly. goes into a limp mode where it will idle and wont rev.... turning car off and on is only way to fix.... but sometime stuck on side of road for 20mins as it starts and dies instantly.... continue to keep...

ok ive gone thru what your trying to do... except i listed the rattle at 83kms and 85kms and then tried to get them to come to the party at 103kms.... no go..... full nissan service history, i worked for them selling their cars for the time aswell..... not impressed.... had to supply all history...

ive got 07 stx manual diesel... contantly getting 750 kms to a tank.. and still have fuel in tank at fuel light i fill back up...... i have 102kms on clock and have canopy on back now. No complaints here... never ecu reset... no chips/exh at all... best was 850kms out of it not towing 110kph...

i have a 100,000km 07 d40 stx and i think i have this noise :p its on start up and idling or coasting along. i thought it was worn serp/ power steering belts but sound still there... asked if belt etc but said chain... its like a spot on the chain goes past... hard to explain... like work...

just hit 96,000kms 3/2007 build/delivered. been through only 2 front tyres 500kms ago and a clutch, and a fuel rail. Had nissan re spray our roof as rust showed and paint flaking in the rails.. manual diesel d40 stx dual cab
