They changed the stud pattern again? I don't think so, the D40 stud pattern is 6x114.3 which is different to most other 4wd being 6x139.7. You shouldn't have any problem getting aftermarket "BLING" alloys, If thats your thing, but you wont find any 17 steelies, only 16's

I think your on the money, mine has always done it under load and stops when i touch the clutch pedal, but it has just started doing it heaps more. Every time i change gear it makes a horrible vibrating noise from the clutch pedal but havent been able to find anything under there, I'll check...

I'm with you mate, I've had mine blocked for about 5000kms and haven't noticed any fuel reductions in the slightest, yes it blows less smoke, and seems to spool up a bit quicker, maybe!!! But i agree that some people get a little bit enthusiastic with their results.

Yeah mate its pretty common with the d40 's, mine was replaced at 50000kms, and mine is fully loaded everyday, so you've killed yours pretty quick. You really need to get used to the power delivery, or lack of on take off, and try not launch it to compensate for the lack of low down power. Not...

yeah mate i'v e had mine on for about 65000kms, had no dramas, but i also had to fit extended shackles as the leaf's still sagged under constant load, prob would've happened with any brand, but overall good value for money. Here a couple of pics, fitted with 265/75/16 also

I wouldn't be too confident in saying that the clutch issues have been addressed, mine is an 08 and had no signs of clutch slip whatsoever untill about 55000kms and then it went, had it changed under warranty then abot 15000kms later the flywheel shat itself! Yes I do carry abit of weight...

I run 265/75/16 on my D40 with a 2' lift and they are awesome, do have a little bit less braking but handling hasn't really been affected. the speddo has now been corrected to dead on the money! I found this before as you hear so much talk about legalities of tyres and it confuses the hell out...
