Nice work there Ken
What size piping did you use I'm still not sure if I should go 2" or 2 1/4" and either use the same size for the both or slightly smaller for the cool side?
That's sounds good then I fitted a catch can a wasn't too sure if that made any difference to the PCV. But what a difference it makes to the amount of oil getting back into the inlet.
Hi all
Just noticed the other day after replacing my oil cap after the old cap chipped which I luckily noticed when I serviced it last I took off the cap while the engine was running and was surprised at the pressure coming out of there does this sound normal to you guys? It wasn't huge...
I'd take that info into your local dealer or whoever first looked at it a year ago and find out why they couldn't pick up this expensive problem while your still covered by waranty. It seems they didn't want to dig this deep when your still covered as soon as its all your problem they go as deep...
Yep i'll second that... When i bought my car it was serviced and overfilled and there was some leaking, once i dropped it down to the correct level i've had no dramas at all. Don't like sending the car out for servicing you just don't know if the first year apprentice is on the job.
2005 model 86000 km's had it since Sept bought it with 79000 km's don't like watching the kays go up but just love driving it, still think of it as a new toy...
Righto fellas i got an email back today it just confirms what Dave has said its not compatible with the 3.0 L engine only runs on the Common Rail 2.5 engines... Bit of a bummer really i would have liked to get 1 for my nav.
Hey trb012
I've got an XR6 intercooler already, look forward to your pics and info... Hope you had some luck with the piping. Was it a fairly easy fit up or a bit of mucking around?
Cheers Mate
Wade
Ok so just sent off a quick email to the Scangauge place about if they are compatible for the 3.0L engine, hope to hear back soon...
Will keep you updated
