Sold the bloody thing.

The drivers switch for the front left hand window has stopped winding the window up, although the front passenger switch works fine, and the window will wind down with both switches. I was just wondering (before I attack it) if anyone has had the opportunity to pull one of these switches apart...

Got mine for a YD25 D40 looks ok, fitted ok, works ok and price was more than ok @ 295 delivered.

cg d40 Can only agree with you on this one. Have owned many different makes and models over the years and none of them were as big a piece of shit, or given me as much grief, as the D40. That list includes a $150 EJ wagon. Man I feel old.

Is it parked on a flat or a hill overnight? Mine rattles like a bastard for about 2 seconds if I park it out front of the garage ( on a slight slope) overnight. If I park it in the garage (flat floor) it's as quiet as a mouse.

32mm, 33mm or 34mm have Nissan used diffrernt size nuts to do the same job? I have to do this seal next weekend and need to get a socket myself.............so which one do I use?

For future reference :) I have just bought an oil seal from my local spare parts store for $24.95 ($99 from nissan) part number is 403067Y Hope this helps someone in the future.
