Yeh good point. Or maybe they just down spec it to push people into the 4x4. Either way it is hard getting the info off Nissan. I know I can get after market chips for between $800 - $1,300 but hoped Nissan could just 're-tune' the 4x4 settings???

Hey guys, I'm waiting on delivery of my new D40 4x2 diesel and was wondering why it only has 106kw instead of the 125kw of the 4x4? Can this be upgraded through Nissan or would I have to buy an after market chip?
