with my......limited.....knowledge I thought that the egr is only closed at idle and WOT. is this right?....(closed at WOT because emissions tests are not performed at WOT) if it is ...does this mean that if I am towing at 60%....70%.....99% load the egr is open ?

I was under the impression that for the torque converter to lock up my sort of vehicle had to be in "D" with OD Not disabled. so the TC should be not locked cos I had the vehicle in 4th gear with the OD disabled both with and without a trailer.
