Speedo broke

G’day all, I was driving my 03 d22 off road on the weekend and the needle for my Speedo fell out of place within the dash cluster. If I take the cover off and place it back on to the dial should it return to working as normal? or am going to need to replace some wiring (or even the whole unit)?

If it's simply fallen off the spindle then replacing it (and perhaps adding a small drop of strong glue) should see it sorted. The only issue would be whether or not you can do that and keep a speedo that is accurate (and where Nissan Navara speedos are concerned, the word "accurate" is used very, very loosely).
