Need to fit new handbrake lever

Our puppy chewed the handbrake lever, so I got a replacement unit from the wreckers. I assumed there would be a video on youtube about how to do this but have come up with nothing. Can anyone provide a guide, photos or video?

I've had a look around for info on this and can't find anything. A start would be pulling the centre console out to get access to it but it's not something I've done.
