3 litre patrol head problems

hi members i have re built over 20 motors and have being successful minus a few small oil leaks etc , BUT I HAVE BUILT THE LAST 2 MOTORS AND HAVING TROUBLE WITH BOTH LEAKING OIL FROM UNDER THE REAR OF THE HEADS, BOTH MOTORS HAD NEW HEADS FITTED , NEW BOLTS , DECK CKECKED WITH A GOOD SMALL SPITIT LEVEL (NEW) COULD NOT GET A 2 THOU FEELER GAUGE ONDER IT ALL OVER CROSS HATCH , SO THE QUESTION IS WHY ARE THE HEADS LEAKING OIL OUT OF THE HEAD , ITS NOT THE OIL RETURN PIOE ,AS I HAVE CHECKED IT AND I MAKE UP MY GASKET FOR THEM ANY WAY , so guys fill me in what is going and why the leak need to know what i am doing wrong . urgent replys please guys many thanks welhy1 , cheers

clean it and track it.
there is two blanking plugs it can leak from at the back.
or its leaking past the head gasket.
check it not running back from front.
the other is plain old rocker cover. i've had trouble with that because they get squished in the packets.
