Default Swap arb locker 08 to 06

Hi
I have 2006 d22 with the 3L and my friend has a 2008 d22 with the 2.5 both are manual.

He is trading it it, and said if i want to pay for the diff change over he will give me the diff for nothing.

Now i was wondering if i could just change over the center housing so that way we both are only out of a vehicle for one day.

How ever i dont know if anything was really changed in the diff between them. and last thing i want to do is screw him around as its not costing me anything except labour pretty much.

Is it front or rear? I believe the ratios are different?

Check the Compliance plate for Axle code.

Should say CA43, CA46, CA39.

If its the same as yours, go for it.
