The Nav had 20kms on it at this stage, not 20,000kms just 20kms literally just drove it home from Nissan.

Ill have a look into the silicone Spray idea, the canvas of the tent is 90% waterproof.

It just seeps through in heavy rain.

Just the Rhino Rack Aero Bars, they have the clips that go under the Seal around the doors. No Drilling or bolting in required.

They work a treat and if I ever drive to the city and need to park underneath they are nice and easy to remove.

So they hold your awning well? That was the only thing stopping me from getting the awning. I didnt think the clip on bars were any good for awnings. That was an assumption though.

When I was looking into Roof Racks and Awnings etc there are some really cheap clip on bars on the market which just wouldn't work, as long as you go for something like these Aero Bars from Rhino Rack or the Heavy Duty bars, I think Thule make some good ones too you'll be fine. I have had this awning on for about a year now and been all over, really rocky roads, beach, snow everything and never had a problem.

These kind of roof bars also have a really good locking system with the bolts and L-Brackets that normally come with the awning, its a 20 min install if that. When I head out I have my Shovel in the holder, my High Lift Jack in the holder, my Maxx Tracks, a few fishing rods and the awning and never had a problem.

Awesome! Thanks for that mate. Yeah ill be going the Rhino's reguardless, still trying to decide on awning. Probably just Ironman or Tigerz11.

Nice rig by the way mate!
