My reverse lights are flickering. I am starting to think the switch is going.
Can anybidy tell me which one is the reverse switch on the gearbox. I can see 3 but am thinking it's the one under the gear shift with 4 connectors covering it.

Guessing you have it sorted by now, but the switch you're looking at nearest the gear shift sounds like the neutral position switch (at least it is on '04 model). The reverse switch is the next one forward. From rear to front 4wd switch-->nps-->reverse switch.

I found the switch, ordered from Nissan today and am hoping that it has the 2 connectors on it, not just the one.

Got the switch today and installed it. I went in through the cabin.
Removed the driver's seat, console and gearshift surround metal and rubber plates, pulled a corner of the carpet forward, much quicker than ripping the bash plates off.

Turns out it was not the switch I had originally thought it was the 2 connectors on the transfer case, but instead just in front of the gear shift on the drivers side.

Reverse lights and rear camera are working again.
Happy days.
