Hi, I have a 2009 D40-ST which I am looking at replacing.
I am tossingup between the STX or the 550.
Now that the STX has the V6 Diesel, the main difference seems to be the leather interior and the AV system for the 550.

Any other pros/cons I should be considering. Are there other major differences I am missing?

Price tag. How's your pocket feeling?

I don't know if one has air conditioning (as in caveman cooling) or climate control. My bloody 1977 model Jaguar had climate control. My 2009 Navara has air conditioning. Grumble grumble!

Other than that, one has two more cylinders than the 4-banger and the other has 2 less than the V8 Titan.

1 x V8 Titan Please.. For this amount.. :) Fuel Economy is crap though lol!

Tony the new STX models are V6 and the old STX is now the ST which is still the four pot. If you want the leather then 550 it is. Or get the STX and put the money you saved towards mods like suspension, bullbar etc.

The Titan is not available here, so why comment about it?
Both have Climate control
I am specifically asking about the differences between the STX and the 550.
As far as I can tell, the 550 has extra (as Standard);

Leather Interior
Power adjustable drivers seat
Heated front seats
Upgraded Audio speakers (Bose with subwoofer)
SAT Nav unit
DVD Player
Reversing Camera
Tub Liner
Bonnet protector

Seems a lot extra for a Sat nav unit and leather seats.

Think I am leaning towards an ST-X and a few extras.

If you plan omn doing any 4x4ing you might want to change your mind, there are more then a few guys on here with them that are not happy with the gear box when in low4 due to it NOT holding 1st and will select second as soon as the revs build even if you have the shift in 1st
