Engine mods
Wanting to know the best way and what order to do it. to get the most power and torque out of my d40 2012 ST??

My opinion,
1- Performance air filter or pod and snorkel for cold air intake.
2- Exhaust system ( preferably turbo back with dump pipe ).
3- intercooler upgrade with hard piping.
4- tunable chip like unichip, steinubar or chip it..

Hey 4BYFOR do you know if any of thoes mods will void the factory warranty

Mate you would really need to contact your dealer and ask that question.. I had 1 service at nissan and never again, I do my own services and have a good mate that's a mechanic and he helps me when I can't do some things.. Stamped all my books just incase engine blew up but it's out of warranty now so all good..

I would say all of them would void a new car warranty unless you get Nissan to fit one of their snorkels for you...

none of these would void the warrenty unless...
the played a part in something that broke
only grey area is the pod, while snorkel is fine to do, adding a pod or changing the airbox is infact illegal unless its a completely sealed unit... like 4byfor apollo job
