Hi Everyone. Looking for some information on why my 2015 Np300 is blowing black smoke from the engine bay. I cant pin point where it is coming from either. Any information that could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. :feedback::feedback::feedback::feedback: The smoke isnt coming from the exhaust tailpipe, its coming from somewhere on the engine block. Thats why i am confused

There should be an EGR pipe that goes from the exhaust manifold around to a valve on the intake manifold. It's part of the emission control system. This may have failed - there have been a couple of reports of this pipe cracking open. Many people block the EGR, it works well in older cars because there's no EGR flow sensor, but in newer cars they check whether EGR is flowing or not and will throw a Check Engine Light if it's not.
