guys my problem on my 2009 R51 is not just that the brakes are shit, but also the rear pads are wearing a lot faster than the fronts...has anyone heard of this?
the rear springs appear to be about an inch higher than standard...apart from that the car is stock...no towing, just normal driving....any advice appreciated....

We have drums on the back of our Navaras, and the more common problem with them is havng the drum fill with mud.

Have you had the rear discs machined or checked?

If the rear brake pads / shoes are wearing quicker than the fronts, this indicates the fronts are not working first as they should. the brakes are designed to opporate in the order of fronts then rears when the brake pedal is applied hard. your master cylinder could need replacing or the front or rear brake cylinders / calipers need attention.
