Gooodmorning , aaaand today my challenge from the nissan gods is to find a ecm unit to suit a 2003 d22 zd30 !

Is anyone wrecking or can point me in the right direction ?

Rum, what stage are you at with your re map's? Do you have any stock ones? Is there anything else i can look for regarding trouble shooting?

There's not a test unit flying around in this group is there? Half joking!

And that's my morning- chasing an ecu for code 0301/31 and testing for 0701/71.

Chashing 0701 is the real joy.....

Thanks

No doubt you've read everything your able to get your hands/eyes on but you never know. I'll keep digging if nothing there is relevant

Sorry bloke, well I'm fault finding testing etc and one of two codes "31/0301"- the end diagnosis for that code tells me "replace ECM" ?
Buuuut the other code is p1cam pos sens 71/0701 and Rum, tweek, on site mech man and now me in some ways think it could be the injector pump or the electricals on that.. so i was trying to chase down a ecm to help fault find....or eliminate!
With what I'm reading here and about the history of these vp44 pumps they are known to shit themselves !
I'm just hoping it was not the pump, but i think I'm avoiding the inevitable.... I've checked and checked and tomorrow I'll check again with the new battery i got today...buuut it's looking like pump danmit!

i can get an ecm from a wrecker, a little pricey though...
So the answer to ya question Boot's - an ECM..

Aaahhhthanks man, i wish you where here days ago Manning ;)
I have been reading and reading page by page and I'm slowly working things out with the manual..

I would kill for a nissan work shop scan tool... seriously I'm at the "balaclava 'up" point lol the local nissan work shop here looks lazy on the security....

Looking through that manual and it keeps on refering to" touch this screen on scan too" ! I wish! How f'n easy would it be eh...

You in? Wanna' be a look out ? Lol fukc nissan, I'm going in for the goods... scan tools for everyyyyybodyyyyy
