just wonderin what size the D22 STR came out standard with? was it the 255/70R16 or the 265/70/R16?
what standard tyres for STR D22

Up to 2003 was 255/70, 2004 on is 265/70.

ok my tyre book must a bit out of date. also, what is the most common tyre upgrade (as in size) for a D22 with a 3 inch lift?

Most common size upgrade would be 265/75, above that you have to think about clearance problems. Depending on rims used and tyre size, determines what will need to be done.

what about if i had a 3 inch suspension lift and a 2 inch body lift? 285/85R16 is the hope. would the tyres rub with the standard rims?

got 16x8s coming and want to get the 285/85s on and agressive muddies (mickey T Claws). gonna do it up for 4x4 only and buy a hummer or a nitro to get around in
