G,day ,my names Sean and I live in darwin .Im flying down to Brisbane to buy a 2003-2004 str on saturday- well look at half a dozen anyway.I will be driving back to darwin after I get my wheels. Anything in particular I should be looking at when buying one of these? Any advice would be appreciated.

Not alot of known issues. Just be sure its been serviced.

Welcome to the forum Sean, not too many things to look out for, check the books to be sure they have been serviced, have a crawl around underneath looking for leaks, and also to check if there is any scrape marks that may indicate regular off road use, check the operation of the windows, I think I'll be up for a new mechanism in the drivers door before long, mine is the same vintage as you are looking at.

Yep, make sure the fuel gauge works cause its a long walk back home for you if you run out.

Good luck with the purchase mate and post pictures when you get it home..
