Hi all

I have had new injectors and injector pump replaced in my YD25 D22

The ute runs fine above 1000 RPM with either the heat button on or foot on the accelerator and it drives fine the vehicle will not idle and does not start straight away.

What could the cause of this problem be?

thank you in advance.

probably sucking air into the lines. check hose connections and filter.
clear fuel line on the pump return lime will show if its got air in.

Problem is; the mechanic who did this job. take it back.

And that's about that !
I feel for the bloke but that made me chuckle - stinking mechanics, the good ones are few and far between hey...

Was it doing it when you picked it up?

Do a computer reset first, just a thought then get him to check his series numbers I did hear rumour that the wrong numbered injectors will give you issues.
If the fuel filter was changed also could be a seal.

I'd suspect air in the lines as well. The pump is drawing fuel from the tank, and any loose or overtightened (pinched) hose will allow air to be drawn in. A damaged primer bulb will cause this too.

As for seals ...
