I've got a 2011 D22 Duel Cab with a 3" Snakeracing suspension lift and am wondering if i get 285/75R16 on neutral offset 16X8 wheels will fit without scrubing. My current tyres are 265/75R16 on factory wheels and they fit fine. Dose anyone now what offset the factory wheels are??
 
factory alloys are +40.
285/75/16s on 0 offset will scrub without gaurd mods.
cut a bit out of the guard or bash it in with a hammer and they will fit.
 
I still get some scrubbing even with guard mods, 265 75 r16 on 16 x 8 zero offset, so I imagine 285 75 r16 will be pretty bad without a body lift.
 
depends what size, not all 285/75's are the same some are up to an inch larger then others, if you want a 285/75 I'd suggest getting them in a BFG KM2 not only is it one of the best all rounders but its also a small 33" coming in at about 830mm off the top of my head, its really only 32.6

i had 265/75/16's on 16x7 +20 with 2" lift, no body lift, no guard mods and no scrubbing, didnt have mudflaps though.
 
I have the Mickey T ATZ 4's they are 32.8 inch on +25 offset. With a 0 offset you will get more scrubbing on full lock and flex than with a +25 offset
Best bet is to call up Zordo and get a body lift kit. Its not to hard to fit, there is stacks of info on the forum. A day on the spanners and it will be done.
 
Im looking at the same option....but unlike all the other states body lifts are illegal in Victoria....
 
Ive got 285/75/16's on factory STX wheels. They fit! If you can a set cheap, they pop straight on. If the tyre bloke tells you that they wont, he's full of crap.

ONLY STX wheels though.
