Well I compared them in the FSM - completely different. Mounting points and connectors, I didn't look further from there. Luckily there have been a few pop up being wrecked on Gumtree so I should be able to get a hold of one.

Not with an necessarily with an open diff as I have. The wheel with the least resistance will get the drive. If one hubs slips so the only load on that side is the half shaft, it will spin the shaft instead of the other side, being shaft, wheel tyre and vechile. From in car it will feel the same...

Nah mate no other noises. Constant load, single clunk and no drive. No other noise. Stop, reapply load, nothing until the next clunk.

Yeah that was the section I was looking at. Full disassembly procedure is "See earlier TD series service manual EF section (1st edition)" or something to that effect. It does have removal and adjustment procedures. I'll scope it out again and if I haven't made a wrong turn somewhere. Thanks.

Thanks mate. That will have to do I suppose. It isn't like its undriveable now, just an annoying feature I'd like sorted. Anyone by any chance have an exploded diagram of the pump? It appears to be in the earlier version of the FSM than supplied on here.

No, I don't believe so. I had heard the clunk but not noticed the loss of drive. Hadn't been on hills as steep as when I discovered the drive issue though.

Thanks bloke. Cleaning and regreasing won't help as that was done with wheel bearings and CV replacement a few weeks back. They looked ok from inspection then.

Rightio! All that stuff checks out. I have however discovered that the IP is leaking fuel from around the accelerator spindle, or whatever it'd be called. Cactus pump? Apologies for long gaps between posts btw, I am a bit useless/short on time.

I finally got around to having a crack at this. Didn't fix it :shot: Then I may have got a bit angry and smashed the cluster... :pissedoff::rambo: Anywho, if anyone is after the NTE152 transistors to have a crack, I have 3 left. PM me and I will send them out if needed.
