Hopefully you didn't shatter pieces through the diff and write that off too. I managed to do just that a few weeks back. Very $$$$$ exercise.
I had all the same symptoms.
I had stock standard then put a lokka in and shortly after i hit a dune too hard resulting it dead lokka + front diff.
Costly exercise, leaving it standard now.
Haven't noticed too much difference without the lokka still goes up dunes easy enough
I've got some D22 ones brand new in blue I bought 6 months back but mate gave me his old ones and I never ended up using them,
If you're keen ill find them in the garage and check postage to you, I'm in perth and wouldn't want much for them,
Finally price drop $25000 FIRM otherwise it's not worth me selling it.
Am losing almost 13 grand in 6 months if someone takes it at that. But would like the cash in the next 2 week.

Just going off first hand experience bud which is what people want.
I would add a chip every time to a turbo diesel because it made the d22 much more pokier but I would advise other things for ~$1000 instead of an exhaust.
I had a chip it chip first for a while and just added the beau desert exhaust and to be honest there is no extra power or oomph with the exhaust.
If I had my time again I would have just left the chip without an exhaust.

I've moved down to 33s for the time been for some upcoming touring,
Ratios are fine with chip + intercooler + exhaust.
