Ive read that it could possibly be there egr valve leaking internaly as well? Going to bypass it tomorrow and see if it makes any difference.

No stains from what I can see but will keep looking carpet is dry so think I can rule out heater core. It drains the overflow as well so starting to think it is the head?

To the guys that have replaced there heads on there zd30's what were the symptoms? Mine has been loosing a liter of coolant about every 5000km but still runs perfect and has never gotten hot. Pressure test shows no leaks and no bubles in rad milk under cap ect is there anything else I can do to...

Still not sure where my missing coolant is going have replaced rad hoses and cap still doing the same thing. Starting to think the head has a slight crack or the gasket is leaking still drives fine and has never over heated.

Mine's doing the same thing but I checked the charge rate of my alternator and its only charging at 12.2v at idle? So guessing it's stuffed?

Got a bit of a strange rattle that's just developed in the drivers door of my nav sound like something is swinging inside there when I accelerate or brake. Pulled the door trim off found nothing loose or hitting anywhere starting to think it might be in the regulator. Anyone come across this?

No bubbles and cant find any leaks there's some light staining around the bottom of the return hose into overflow so maybe its slightly leaking from there? Will replace hose and radiator cap for good measure then go from there.

Hey guys Ive noticed over the last 20,000km or so my nav is loosing approx half a liter of coolant between services? Still runs perfect and have pressure tested system without any signs of a leak could it be the start of a dreaded cracked head? It's an 05 with 210,000km on the clock.

Thanks for the write up mate I need to do my glow plugs soon as she's getting a bit harder to start on these frosty Melbourne mornings. So the rocker cover needs to come off to access the glow plugs?

Ive got the rancho one as well makes a small amount of difference on rough roads. If I had my time again but i probably wouldn't bother.

It's just over $100 for a set through my work so might just change them for piece of mind.

Hey guys just wondering at what km's have people replaced there glow plugs? My nav has just clocked 205thou km's and occasionally on a cold morning or if its been not run for a few days it takes a couple of go's to start so thought I may as well replace them?

Yep gave the bolts a once over and there were a couple of loose ones cleaned it all back up so will see how it go's. Thanks guys

Catch can is fitted so it's not blow buy. Oil feed and drain are dry and oil free as well if you look straight up under the car you can see it dripping off the compressor cover down onto the diff which is why I think its leaking internally. Was just wondering if anyone else has had the same...
