My 1993 Navara Motor is 1600cc petrol NA16 I am still experiencing choke staying on far to long and if I stop whilst it is on it pre ignites does anybody know what kind of choke it is

Re the petrol motor NA16 I have a problem with the carb in that it is reving to high could be the choke is not coming off soon enough I dont think it has a operating thermostat as it takes a while to get warm can anybody help Another problem is the fuel sender intank is playing up and finding...
