Was told by ARB when I was looking for a locking diff that it was a larger unit. Might be that year , I don't know . 10 bolt or 12 bolt ??

post 2010 I believe had a better simplex timing chain. I have the base model RX 4x4 with 195000 klms . Was also told the Thai built ones had a larger diff .

similar problem with another poster "at my wits end " He got it sorted i think by changing rims .

couple of us on the site have similar faults , couple have been suction control valves . Try a good dose of diesel injector cleaner double dose it and see if that helps.

noticed that, is it the repco mechanic you used ? I lost all throttle response this morning. Nothing till I got the pedal half way down !! then it took off. Usually happens at lights after its idled for a while . Doesn't sound like a bad thing to do anyway . Add it to the list.

same thing here 2010 rx manual. I have had it in the past, and used a triple dose of injector cleaner . Works for a while and comes back a few months later.
