hey team ,i recently took the egr off my 2.5turbo an cleaned it , the truck runs better an the engine check light has gone ,buts the egr clicks like crazy when i shut the engine down , when i cleaned the egr i was unsure about checking the butterfly in the egr should it move freely ? it moved...

If I block it off will the engine fault light come back on ? I've seen the kits for blocking it off ,way cheaper than a new egr

ok thanks , maybe I got it working just enough to get the engine light to go out only , is there a way to check if its working properly when cleaning the egr ? thanks
