If you go onto the facebook D40 V9X (550) V6 3.0CRD page, there is a company in SA (I think) that do their own bearings, and supply rebuild kits for these engines.

I just received an oil sample analysis back, which shows 6.5% oil dilution, with a slightly lowered oil viscosity, after only 4500kms. At the previous oil sample (4,500kms ago), there was a slightly lowered viscosity, with no fuel present. This sample had 10,000kms on the oil. I don't have...

I am using the Mickey Thompson ATZ on mine. They came with the car when I purchased it 2nd hand. Normally I would have gone with BFG's, but have found these tyres great. They are slightly wider also, at 275.
