Replaced my idler pulley assembly today. Put on a new fan belt and drained radiator coolant aswell.

My idler pulley bearing shagged itself the other day in Darwin ( ZD30 - 117,000k's ). I managed to get it on the Ghan and down to Adelaide. I pulled everything off today using this handy how to. It is quite simple....I'm awaiting parts from Nizzbits before i put it all back together...

i just used some stormwater pipe i had lying around in the shed. Its been going really well so far. Catches quite a bit in 5000km. What ive done now is put a bead of silicon around the outside where the bottom screws on. I cleaned the engine bay and got water inside the catch can. Lesson Learnt....

Its very messy. I wash mine in turps (Seem to use a lot)
I have re-oiled using the ice cream container method and a freezer bag method.
