Bit of an update. I took the switch from the front passenger (which I know works) and tried it in the rear doors and no luck. Took the switches from the rear doors and tried them in the front passenger and they worked. I think I am more confused now.

Thanks Tony. I tried the switch that locks the windows and it also locks out the front passengers and appears to be working fine. Thats as far as I've got. It is odd that both back switches are gone, but I wouldn't know if it happened at the same time or not.

The rear windows in my 07 D40 STX still go up and down when using the master switch in the drivers door, but they don't work with the switches in the rear doors. I thought it might be the master switch so I got a new one on ebay, didn't fix the problem. I had a bit of a search on here but...

Thanks Old Tony. Took it back to the auto elec today and will be getting a new alternator under warranty, told me he wouldn't charge me for labour, and I thought to bloody right you wont. Should be sorted early next week. Battery on the trickle charge until then.

Thanks for the advice guys. I took the the battery out of the ute and on to the charger. When I disconnected it the voltage started dropping straight away. Got the battery swapped and hopefully thats the end of that. I guess I made the mistake of assuming because the battery was new it should...

Hi Guys. Went to start my D40 this morning and when I turned the key all of the lights on the dash (bar the battery, 4wd, and handbrake light) went off. Any ideas? I have recently installed a new battery. Cheers

Thanks errics. I looked at your photo and I only have one hose there. The pipe on the left has been blanked off. It looks like a hose has also been blanked off at the air intake. Any idea why that would be? Got the ute 2nd hand and I know I haven't done it....

Thanks guys. The hose for the actuator to the BCS was buggered at the actuator. Replaced and now running pretty good. Will do the rest of the hoses once the temperature here drops (40 Degrees today) Thanks again. Saved me a trip to the mechanic

Any update on how you went Woosha? I am having the same problems trying to get a clock spring (same as the one in the photos).
